Alpha transparency added

Now if you click on the colour picker, you'll see an alpha (transparency) option, allowing you to draw using transparency.

This could be a problem though. When I use different colors on the Color Palette Selector, the pen tool suddenly becomes the calligraphy pen tool. -posted by catastrophe at 18 Jun 2014 23:20

We do that deliberately because the regular pen wouldn't work well with transparency. To see what would happen, try drawing multiple connected line segments using the line tool. You'll see that you get a darker circle where the line segments meet, due to the bevelling. Using the calligraphy brush with transparency is the easiest way to ensure that it works properly. -posted by admin at 19 Jun 2014 10:47

There was a bug in the java version which caused it to go to the calligraphy tool even when alpha was left at maximum. This is now fixed. -posted by admin at 19 Jun 2014 15:06
