Opacity added to artists/graff boards
We have just added an opacity option to the graff/aritsts version of Groupboard allowing you to use semi-transparency - you can see it in action here:
http://www.groupboard.com/demo/graff.shtml http://www.groupboard.com/demo/artists_board.shtml Now when you select the nib/spray/circle/rectangle tools you'll get a popup allowing you to change the opacity. -posted by admin at 3 Mar 2011 14:15 |

well someone found a way to use opacity on the freehand tool. I have to say i don't understand why it wasn't added to that tool also. been playing around with it. doesn't seem like a bad idea. awesome job on the upgrade, though. :D -posted by PiMP at 9 Mar 2011 04:58 |
The reason it wasn't added is because the bevelling causes dark spots to appear at the end of each line segment. We just added it to the Groupboard Designer version of the graff board because the people using that particular version specifically wanted it (even with the spots). However I'm not adding it to the normal graff board because it looks very crappy IMO :) -posted by admin at 9 Mar 2011 10:55 |
After using the opacity on freehand a little more, I noticed the drawing is a bit spotty also and it looks really bad. Would be cool though if there was a setting that could multiply the color being used to whatever is already drawn. -posted by PiMP at 11 Mar 2011 19:32 |
