Why was my IP banned

I've been using Groupboard all week. I don't think I was on for more than a minute yesterday because I had to work late.

I came back this morning to find my IP was banned, so I made an account on the forums to ask about that.

I think I know what happened. I had two different internet providers because one of them tends to not be very reliable. I was using that provider when it cut off, so I closed the tab and switched to the other one. Unfortunately, the "McCutcheon" from that session was still connected to the board. I asked the admin if he could kick one or both of us to clear up my name. I guess the other "Me" was banned instead. Anyway, since then I'd dropped one internet provider, and it turned out to be the unbanned one. But thanks! Now I don't have to hop on my mobile hotspot to use the Whiteboard! -posted by McCutcheon at 10 Apr 2018 20:00
